Le défilé renault ® the carwalk welcomes Pop Art Car, an exhibition conceived with the Fonds Renault pour l’Art et la Culture, weaving a dialogue between three universes deeply rooted in our daily lives: Pop Art, Street Art, and the automotive object. The car leaves the road to enter the field of perception, interpretation, and symbolism. Like the artworks on display, it becomes a visual surface, a material, and a narrative. With Pop Art Car, the brand celebrates the link between industrial innovation and artistic creation, affirming that the car, an object shared by all, is also an icon of popular culture.
Art Car: When Design Becomes Artistic Expression
On the Carwalk ramp, designed by architect Franklin Azzi as a reference to racetracks, the show cars invite imagination by presenting innovative designs with hybrid forms. The Art Car embodies the metamorphosis of the industrial machine into an aesthetic object, where the mechanical surface becomes a medium for expression, and where function gives way to utopia. Through bold colors, reinterpretations, and transformed volumes, the car adopts the codes of Pop Art and Urban Art to become a cultural sign, a figure circulating through both the imagination and physical space.
