Renaud Faroux
Renaud Faroux is an art historian and journalist, specializing in 1950s abstraction and Pop Art. An exhibition curator and video director for the CNAP, he teaches art history at the University of Lille III and at the Department of Foresight at the Catholic University of Lille. Based in California from 2000 to 2008 as a correspondent for Etapes Graphiques, L’Oeil, and Rolling Stone, he has notably worked on transdisciplinarity in art schools. He is the author of numerous publications, including Bernar Venet (Beaux Arts Éditions, 2018), La Grande Utopie de Kijno (Somogy, 2018), and Pop in Europe (Mare & Martin, 2020).
Grossomodo
A content creator and poet, Grossomodo has made a name for himself through a direct and sensitive writing style widely shared on social media. Through poetry rooted in the city and everyday life, he brings words into the urban space, echoing a contemporary form of popular expression. During this talk at the Renault show, he will discuss his journey, his writing process, and the connections between urban poetry, street art, and new modes of dissemination.
