The Magician, a key figure in modern house music, began his solo career in 2010 after co-founding Aeroplane. Known for his multi-platinum remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” as well as tracks like “Sunlight” and “Shy,” he has collaborated with artists such as A-Trak and Purple Disco Machine, and remixed tracks for Polo & Pan and Years & Years, among others. His Magic Tape series and his label, Potion Records, cement his status as a true trendsetter. A globetrotting artist, The Magician has performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages and venues, including Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Printworks London, while also holding a five-year residency at Elsewhere Brooklyn.In November 2024, he released his debut studio album, *VOYAGE*, blending 80s and 90s synths with contemporary indie pop, in collaboration with pianist Sofiane Pamart and producer Samaran. The visual concept, created by Werlen Meyer Studio, enhances the project’s aesthetic.
